I offer a hands-on advanced eBird workshop that will be aimed at educating the public on the many useful tools eBird can offer to the global birding community at large. This will include step-by-step demonstrations on how to best use eBird across different platforms (smart-phone/tablet and Desktop/laptop). Through this workshop you will learn how to easily keep track of the birds you’ve seen throughout your birding career, as well as how to best use other useful features eBird has to offer. Some of these features include how to submit and share checklists, view species population trends, recent sightings, seasonal species trends, and more! Ebird is one of the most groundbreaking resources available within the birding community, contributing to worldwide bird conservation, and bird population data. While its countless features can be initially intimidating, this workshop will work to put any past confusion to rest, resulting in nothing but confidence while using the app for your future birding needs!

We take a deep dive into the seasons of Indiana and the birds that are found during each season. I'll explain how to identify all of your common Indiana backyard birds, as well as how to attract these birds to your backyards!
