We target breeding warblers of Indiana, including Blue-winged Warbler, Worm-eating Warbler, Cerulean Warbler, Pine Warbler, Prothonotary Warbler, Yellow-throated Warbler, Prairie Warbler, and many more!
Open-country species are another highlight, with chances to encounter Upland Sandpiper, Blue Grosbeak, Bobolink, Bell's Vireo, Dickcissel, Grasshopper Sparrow, and Henslow’s Sparrow in high-quality grassland habitats.
Summer also brings opportunities for wading birds, which can be surprisingly diverse in Indiana during late Summer. Tours may include the possibility of finding Little Blue Heron, Snowy Egret, Yellow and Black-crowned Night Herons, and occasional rarities such as Limpkin or other uncommon wading species when conditions align!
